Problem running maple

Ok, I've downloaded v62, downloaded server files, extracted server files in MS main folder, but, when I run maplestory.exe, it takes a while and then give-me an error message saying it cannot connect to server... (it don't even start maplestory!)
 
Things I already did:
re-installed maple - didn't work
re-downloaded and then re-installed maple - didn't work
 
I got no firewall (even windows firewall is deactivated) btw. I'm running on xp sp3.

if anybody can help me I'll be thankfull
