Beginner/Starter Command Empty
PostSubject: Beginner/Starter Command   Beginner/Starter Command EmptySun Feb 22, 2009 9:45 pm

Since I noticed the notes running from left to right at the top screen(can't find the word in my dictionary Rolling Eyes )
with the phrase "Type @help for all the player commands."
why don't include a command or some first steps guide which introduce the newbies into the peculiarities of Roadside.
Like what are chickens and how does the system work, where is the mystic box and what does it do, how to spawn certrain bosses
location and function of custom npcs, benefits of donations, etc, etc, etc,

I know there is already a thread in the forum and a button to link there on the main page.
But you know the people (and I am one of them) they get to this server via topsites/google/whateva,
download the client, register, start playing , start spamming (s)megas

maybe this addon can cut a little of the spamming and thus the lag

@help command sounds like a great idea. Rick should really think about it.

I guess you are all joking again right? Razz

Seriously I want to add proper information so that everybody can look through the oddities of Roadside.
I for myself would be really grateful if the prizes from the chicken system would have a longer/better explanation.
I can't tell even now which ones are just for the looks and which ones really useful, e.g. boosting stats or giving other advantages.scratch

Another thing which could be added would be a section or a paragraph about what player's should resign from.
Like :"Please don't use any/too many avatar smegas it will lag the server"

I am trying to appeal to the insight of every player.

Very Nice once again. This is a great suggestion, as I said. Rick, please give this some thought.
